About The Position

This role is for a Recovery Associate, Mortgages at Bridgewater Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for navigating complex mortgage recovery processes, working with customers, municipalities, and internal teams to maintain relationships and find effective solutions for delinquent accounts. The role requires exceptional organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases simultaneously. Requirements

Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., business/commerce, business management, finance, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 3 years of experience working within a lending institution environment.
At least 1 year of direct customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AI-powered tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, and similar platforms.

Responsibilities

Administer a portfolio of tax arrears accounts to bring the tax accounts into good standing.
Analyze customer’s financial situations, offer loans where applicable, set up of loan facilities and payment of proceeds.
Communicate with customers when the bank receives cancellations of home insurance policies, to obtain proof of replacement policies.
Process bankruptcy and consumer proposal documents to ensure accuracy, and action when our property is being vacated.
