This role directly oversees daily recoup operations, evaluating the condition of returned product, classifying damage levels, and managing carton inventory. The Lead will confer with vendors to resolve problems, supervise the daily activity of recoup team members, and assign work while monitoring productivity to ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, housekeeping, product damage minimization, safety, and overall efficiency. This position also coordinates and monitors carton deployment, manages the condition of arrivals (COA) and condition of returns (COR) program, and works with Inventory Control and Rework Representatives to determine labor needs and manage completed reworks. A key aspect of this role is promoting safety by supporting company safety programs, educating team members, and enforcing safety rules and regulations. The Lead is responsible for communicating policies, safety regulations, and SOPs to the team, ensuring compliance, and taking corrective action when necessary. Maintaining a clean and orderly department, investigating damage to determine causes, and recommending corrective actions are also essential. The role involves fostering high team member morale and recognition, training, coaching, and providing feedback on job performance and safety. Additionally, the Lead will resolve team member relations issues, confer with management on inventory accuracy and quality control, inform management of damage issues and recommend solutions, and prepare reports on work activities and accidents. Driving vehicles or operating machinery may be required to complete assignments. Reliable attendance and adherence to safety and security standards are mandatory, along with performing other assigned duties.
