Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma
  • 2 years of experience in record maintenance and management
  • Advanced working knowledge of student information systems and working within a post-secondary environment
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Strong ability to work within a Collaborative team environment
  • Ability to understand, interpret and prepare reports and working knowledge of database systems
  • Solid understanding of document management and retention strategies
  • An equivalent combination of directly related education and experience may be considered.
  • If your education was received internationally we will require you provide an international education assessment through IQAS, WES, or one of the other nationally designated organizations upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Experience and General understanding of Electronic Record management, maintenance, knowledge and best practices within a Post-Secondary Environment, preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Serving as the main point of contact for any issues relating to official students record management.
  • Ensuring data integrity of student information.
  • Assisting in developing processes, procedures and improvement projects to ensure overall compliance of college policy and procedures as it relates to student record management.
  • Ensuring data integrity, accuracy and completeness of student records within the SIS.
  • Working with the Office of the Registrar and other departments to ensure data integrity and accuracy, particularly with, but not limited to FOIP requests, official grade changes submitted by the department, and issuance of Parchments and Official Documentation and Graduation Paperwork.
  • Processing student requests.
  • Issuing Official Student Documents (Transcripts and Parchments).
  • General maintenance of student records.
