About The Position

ASRC Federal is seeking qualified candidates for our Regional Credentials Manager position. The Regional Credentials Manager provides Credentialing Management for the Air National Guard Centralized Credentialing and Privileging Program Office. This is a remote/telework position with minimum travel required.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of relevant medical/health systems experience, with preference for Military Health Systems environment working knowledge
A minimum of 1 year of experience in acquisition, maintenance and review of professional licensure, privileging or continuing education of military healthcare providers, or equivalent experience as a Civilian/Military Credentialing Manager.
Demonstrates interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a range of military personnel and audiences, including senior medical staff.
Knowledge and understanding of Air Force Instruction (AFI) 44-119, Department of War Instruction (DoWI) 6025.13, ANGMS Credentialing and Privileging guidance, Defense Health Agency (DHA PM 6025.13) as it pertains to ANG specific procedures. Other pertinent (Health Affairs) HA, Department of War (DoW), Air Force (AF), ANG and Military Health Service (MHS) guidance, processes, and procedures.
Ability to work within military/government proprietary databases and applications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office/data automation tools is required.

Nice To Haves

Preferred Centralized Credentialing Quality Assurance System (CCQAS) knowledge or Civilian equivalent Credentialing programs.

Responsibilities

Works closely with National Guard Bureau (NGB/SGOK) and the Air National Guard Medical Service (ANGMS) on Air National Guard (ANG) specific programs and process for ANG Credentialing.
Completes and processes healthcare-provider credentialing and recredentialing applications and privileging processes IAW NGB/SGOK guidance.
Ensure providers are credentialed, appointed, and privileged with their Medical Group (MDG), Military Treatment Facilities (MTF’s) as required, and other facilities as needed for training purposes.
Assess incoming medical personnel working with ANG Recruiting & NGB/SGOK to credential and privilege providers.
Communicate with ANG providers, Unit Credentialing Managers and Fulltime MDG personnel in a timely manner and follow as needed.
Keeps all credentialed Provider records up to date for Regularly Scheduled Drill’s (RSD), Deployment Credentials and verifications maintained prior to expiration, process assigned applications, assist ICTB Manager with complete electronic credentials records.
Works closely with QA/QC Manager while processing all privileging applications.
Act as an Authorized Agent for the ANG to enroll, continuously monitor, and monthly disenroll providers in the NPDB CQ system.
Collaborate with clinical leadership to support the ANG Clinical Quality Management (CQM) program, ensuring compliance with DHA-PM 6025.13 and AFI 44-119.
