The Records Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring our operations run with integrity, accuracy, and full alignment with legal and regulatory standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys diving into complex information and transforming it into clear, compliant decisions. You’ll analyze legal documents, sentencing statutes, and case law to complete precise sentence calculations and adjustments. You’ll also serve as a key communication point—processing forms and coordinating with law enforcement, correctional staff, legal officials, and offenders regarding warrants, transport, and adjudicated indictments. Part of your impact includes determining when statutory notifications are required for offender movement and helping maintain strong tracking systems through close collaboration with your team. Beyond daily coordination and analysis, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening organizational accountability. The Compliance Specialist examines and evaluates programs, contracts, business procedures, and property to ensure they meet performance requirements, business rules, and government regulations. Through audits, inspections, and careful review, you help safeguard public safety, support consistent processes, and contribute to a culture of integrity. This is an opprtunity to make a meaningful difference in a detail driven, mission focused environment where your expertise truly matters. The hourly rate of this position will increase by $1.00 per hour or 2.5%25, whichever is greater, effective July 1, 2026, in accordance with HB13.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business or a related field.
  • Two years of directly related work experience that demonstrates attention to detail, data-quality.
  • Microsoft Office computer skills.
  • Good communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities
