About The Position

We are seeking a Record Keeper to join our team in Austin or Dallas, TX. Selects, interprets, adapts and applies guidelines, precedents and technical principles related to field of specialty, to non-routine and complex problems. May select and recommend approaches to resolve technical problems. Monitors and updates schedules and project budgets. Performs basic design calculations and scaling for supervisor's approval and/or make required computations to reduce survey notes utilizing plane geometry/trigonometry. Interprets environmental assessment findings, evaluates these against EPA standards and/or other established criteria, and writes reports for review by engineer or scientists. May explore and evaluate possible approaches to improve results. Performs a wide variety of complex CAD assignments, applying principles of discipline(s) supported. May develop conceptual design alternatives as required by supervisor or alter final drawings as requested. Assists technical professionals in preparing specifications, writing technical reports, calculating estimated project costs and man-hours, coordinating presentations to clients and performing other professional-level tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) plus ten years related experience OR an Associates Degree in a related technical field plus eight years related experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with TXDOT
  • TXDOT experience preferred.
  • Experience with SiteManager and/or APCM is preferred.
