About The Position

At Voda Cleaning & Restoration, we specialize in a wide range of services to keep your home or business clean, fresh, and free from damage. We handle all levels of water, fire, and mold damage to a property and take great pride in helping our fellow Houstonians get back on their feet. A Reconstruction Assistant supports the repair, rebuilding, and restoration of properties damaged by fire, water, or, or other disasters, assisting the Head of Reconstruction with site coordination, scheduling, and documentation. They ensure projects stay on schedule, communicate with subcontractors, and maintain safety standards.

Requirements

Extensive scheduling, organization, and communication role(s). Previous experience in construction, restoration, or general contracting is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and, problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with construction methods, building codes, and safety protocols.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other common software platforms. Comfortability with texting and multiple platforms at once will be required.
Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy materials, and work in, sometimes, difficult environments.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

Assist Project Managers with daily operations, scheduling subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors, and managing material deliveries.
Monitor job sites for safety compliance, quality control, and adherence to project plans.
Maintain project logs, take photos, document progress.
Perform hands-on tasks such as, but not limited to, debris removal, cleaning, material staging, or minor construction tasks.
Act as a point of contact for property owners, updating them on project status and addressing concerns.
