About The Position

SERVPRO of Virginia Beach is seeking an experienced Reconstruction Estimator. The role involves visiting job sites after mitigation and demolition, evaluating the repairs needed to restore properties to pre-loss condition, and preparing accurate reconstruction scopes and estimates using Xactimate. The estimator independently assesses job sites, documents damages and measurements, identifies reconstruction needs, and produces thorough estimates in a timely manner for submission to insurance carriers and adjusters. The role also communicates job scopes with project managers and the reconstruction team and revises estimates when feedback or additional information requires it.

Requirements

Experience with Xactimate.
Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction methods and materials.
Ability to independently assess job sites and develop detailed repair scopes.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a background check.

Previous experience in reconstruction estimating, insurance restoration, or construction.

Responsibilities
