About The Position

Valley Reconditioning is seeking a Reconditioning/Detail Technician to join their team. This role involves detailing and reconditioning a variety of vehicles, from premium brands like Audi, Mercedes-Benz, VW, and Porsche to everyday models such as Honda, as well as travel trailers and semis. The primary objectives include ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, completing quality reconditioning work in a timely fashion, and tracking materials, time, and repairs for proper job completion. This is a full-time position with flexible hours and a competitive salary plus commission after training.

Requirements

Reliable and have attention to detail.
H.S. diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the field, including applying polish, cleaner, and/or compounds, polishing, waxing, and buffing skills is a plus.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Apply polish, cleaner, and/or compounds to vehicles; polish, wax, and buff vehicles
Follow all service orders and procedures in a timely and safe manner.
Advise the Reconditioning Manager on any problems or concerns.
Appropriately apply and use chemicals for their intended use on vehicles.
Adhere and promote the safety standards of the shop area.
Use of proper equipment and care when working on customer vehicles.
Oversee that the shop area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
