As a Reconditioning Specialist, you are responsible for restoring, repairing, and upgrading medical beds and related equipment to ensure they meet quality, safety, and performance standards before being returned to customers. You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, perform disassembly and reassembly of equipment, install product upgrades, and complete cosmetic repairs such as sanding and painting. In addition, you will support inventory management, material handling, product inspections, and manufacturing operations while maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The Reconditioning Team is responsible for extending the life of Baxter medical equipment through repair, refurbishment, testing, and quality assurance. Team members work collaboratively to troubleshoot equipment, perform upgrades and modifications, manage inventory, and ensure products are restored to like-new condition. The team partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Materials Management, and Logistics to support customer needs, maintain production schedules, and deliver safe, reliable products. Together, the team plays a critical role in supporting sustainability initiatives, reducing waste, and providing customers with high-quality reconditioned medical equipment.
