About The Position

This role involves providing customer service to internal and external customers, maintaining partnerships with all departments, and communicating necessary information. The primary responsibilities include cleaning and reconditioning the interior and exterior of vehicles to restore their appearance. This includes washing, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, cleaning upholstery, applying protective agents, and inspecting vehicles for defects. The role also involves maintaining showroom and stock vehicles, removing stickers, and ensuring work areas are clean and organized. Additionally, the position requires filling vehicles with fuel and applying tire dressing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to internal and external customers promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain partnership with all departments as necessary.
  • Communicate necessary information to pertinent partners.
  • Clean interior and exterior of vehicles.
  • Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs.
  • Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surface.
  • Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
  • Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
  • Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
  • Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation and communicate with manager.
  • Restore appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces. Use touch-up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materials.
  • Fill vehicle with fuel as directed by management.
  • Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
  • Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
  • Remove all window stickers on sold vehicles.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all work areas.
