Reconditioning Technician
About The Position
Our dealership needs a Reconditioning Technician who turns “good” into WOW! This role involves making vehicles look brand-new. Key Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles and identifying necessary repairs or cosmetic improvements, performing paint touch-ups, minor bodywork, dent removal, and scratch repairs, and cleaning and detailing vehicle interiors and exteriors to dealership standards. The technician will also replace or repair worn or damaged parts such as trim, molding, and lights, and maintain tools and equipment in a clean, safe working environment. Other duties include assisting with vehicle inspections and reporting on reconditioning progress, and teaming up with Service & Sales to make our lot shine. Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bring energy, efficiency, and pride to your work every day
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Experience in detailing, reconditioning, or minor repairs preferred
- Have an eagle eye for detail
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
