Reconditioning Center Light Duty Technician
About The Position
Walser Automotive Group is hiring a Reconditioning Center Light Duty Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on used vehicles of all makes and models. The role includes completing repairs needed to recondition vehicles from start to finish, following company safety policies, and protecting company assets. Technicians work in climate-controlled shop facilities and must wear safety eyewear and hard-toed, slip-resistant footwear in Recon warehouse service departments. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Compensation is $23–$26 per hour plus incentives. The position requires providing basic tools and the ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended periods.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Previous detail experience.
- Team-oriented.
- Reliable with a good work ethic.
- Ability to provide basic tools.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive degree and/or certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes.
- Replace bulbs and air filters.
- Check fluid levels, brakes, and tires, and perform other minor repairs on used vehicles of all makes and models.
- Make repairs needed to recondition cars from start to finish.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures and protect company assets.
- Wear safety eyewear at all times in Recon warehouse service departments.
- Wear hard-toed shoes and slip-resistant footwear in Recon warehouse service departments.
- Complete other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned.
