About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Reconciliation Analyst to support back-office payment processing and reconciliation activities within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role involves working cross-functionally with internal teams while handling high volumes of cases requiring manual review and investigation. This is a high-volume, manual processing role requiring strong attention to detail. Ideal for candidates who thrive in structured, process-driven environments and can manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum 6+ months of reconciliation experience (debits & credits)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data manipulation, tables, charts, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• Experience using AS400
• Experience working with a Big 5 Bank
• Previous back-office collections experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including: Dealers, Branches, Collections teams, Contact centres
• Process and manage: Payment collections and deposits, General ledger (GL) reconciliations (debits and credits), Payment investigations and discrepancies
• Perform back-office collections-related tasks and support payment resolution
• Analyze cases received via inbox, often including Excel-based data files
• Complete manual data reviews, updates, and reconciliations using Excel
• Work within internal systems including AS400
• Handle lien release processing as required
• Manage a daily workload of approximately 70–100 cases
• Support multiple functions across the team (variety of tasks; not repetitive)
