About The Position

Palo Verde Behavioral Health is searching for a qualified Receptionist to join our team! This position is PRN for the Weekend Shift, working Saturday from 8am-5pm and Sunday from 10am-4pm. Palo Verde Behavioral Health has a longstanding reputation for stability in mental health and substance use treatment, serving patients in and around Tucson since 1960. We offer individualized inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment programs for adults and adolescents.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Two (2) years experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferable in a health care environment.
• Any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment.
• Must have availability to work occasional overtime or flexible hours, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting all visitors
• Answering the phones and paging when needed
• Receiving and documenting incoming deliveries
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail
• Preparing weekday deposits and monthly statements for mailing
• Providing administrative departmental and project support as needed
