About The Position

The Receptionist will serve as the 288 Grove Street ambassador who greets staff, individuals served, vendors, and community members upon arrival. They will also perform general administrative tasks, coordinate communication, and provide office support to the programs housed at 288 Grove Street.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
  • Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record, required.
  • Previous experience with administrative/clerical procedures, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills, required.

Responsibilities

  • Sort and distribute daily incoming mail and packages.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication of pertinent information.
  • Track stock of office supplies, order when needed, and ensure spending is within budgetary guidelines.
  • Submit facility maintenance requests through online ticketing system.
  • Verify individuals’ insurances are active.
  • Outreach individuals to obtain additional information, if needed.
  • Manage scheduling of rooms, schedule appointments and meetings as needed.
