Receptionist - GERMANTOWN
About The Position
Pigtails and Crewcuts is looking for a friendly, dependable Receptionist to help keep our salon organized, welcoming and running smoothly. This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk-all-day kind of job. You’ll be greeting families, answering phones, booking appointments, helping our stylists, keeping the salon organized and jumping in wherever you’re needed. If you like staying busy, enjoy working with people and aren’t afraid to pitch in, you might be exactly who we’re looking for. We’re not just looking for someone to answer the phone. We’re looking for someone who helps make the entire salon run better.
Requirements
- Great customer service skills
- Friendly and comfortable talking to people
- Organized and dependable
- Can multitask in a busy environment
- Pay attention to the little things
- Enjoy working with children and families
- Comfortable using a computer and learning new systems
- Comfortable with basic social media
- Team player who notices what needs to be done and DOES IT
- Available to work Saturdays
- Can take a good photo, post a Story and follow simple instructions
Responsibilities
- Welcome families and create a great first impression
- Answer phones and respond to customer questions
- Schedule and manage appointments
- Check clients in and out
- Help keep the salon clean, organized and ready for guests
- Assist stylists and team members as needed
- Help with retail sales
- Restock products and supplies
- Post simple photos and Stories to our social media accounts
- Jump in wherever needed to help the salon run smoothly
