About The Position

Become a part of our caring community As a Receptionist, you'll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive, functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. Working onsite, you will report to Antoinette Bray, Center Administrator. You'll manage front desk operations, support clinical staff, and help maintain a smooth and compassionate environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic setting and enjoys making a positive impact on others.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of medical reception experience
  • Value-based care model experience
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving patient experiences and care
  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in leading a team/department preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
  • Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
  • Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information and empathy.
  • Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.
