About The Position

We're looking for a Receptionist who excels at communication and bringing positivity to interactions. This role focuses on switchboard operations, where you'll be the unseen force ensuring the hotel's smooth functioning from behind the front desk. You'll handle calls, assist guests with information, and maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • A proven background in customer service and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Open availability from Monday to Friday.
  • Shifts are typically scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a reception, administration, or hotel environment is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Assist with printing, cutting, or distributing guest or property communications.
  • Use Hospitality Management Software (HotSOS) to create tickets for support requests.
  • Attach Atlas° branded stickers to old Travelodge luggage tracking tags.
  • Provide administrative support to guests, including photocopying and printing.
  • Monitor and manage lost and found items, including following up on emails, inputting new items into the log, contacting guests for pick up or shipping, and reviewing and discarding items that are over a month old.
  • Print and cut lost and found labels.
  • Prepare key cards for the Front Desk, fold, and pack key packets to support the Front Desk and Sales.
