The Receptionist for the J3 patient waiting lounge serves as the primary point of contact for families and visitors supporting the Coronary ICU, Heart Failure ICU, and Cardiac Short Stay units. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, coordinating and facilitating visitation, and escorting family members to patient care areas in accordance with unit guidelines. They also communicate directly with clinical units by phone to coordinate visits and relay any concerns or updates to the nursing coordinator team. As often the first impression of Cleveland Clinic, the receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. A warm smile, positive attitude, and compassionate, empathetic approach help set the tone for each patient and family experience.
