About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips® salon team and help deliver a welcoming, comfortable salon experience. As a receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers and a key support for stylists and salon management throughout the day. If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and working as part of a team in an energetic, supportive salon environment, this could be a great fit. Seeking receptionist applicants to greet customers, answer phones, check customers in and out, manage cash drawer and do cleaning around the salon. Seeking some weekday mornings, weekday evenings and weekends. Applicant must be available to work August 17 to September 7 (including Labor Day). Experience working a cash drawer preferred but willing to train the right person. The job pays NJ state minimum wage of $15.92/hr.

Requirements

A friendly, professional approach to customer service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks

Comfort using basic technology and learning new systems
A team-first mindset and willingness to support salon operations
Must be available to work August 17 to September 7 (including Labor Day)
Current cosmetology and barber students are encouraged to apply
