About The Position

Mansfield Center for Health & Rehabilitation, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is hiring a part-time receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors. The role helps foster a warm, positive, and inclusive atmosphere and offers an entry-level opportunity to learn about long-term care and its career opportunities. The receptionist greets and assists visitors, residents, and families; manages calls, emails, and inquiries; receives inquiries and releases information according to established policies and procedures; coordinates appointments, meetings, and resident activities; and receives newspapers, mail, and gifts for residents. The position is located at 100 Warren Circle, Storrs, Connecticut, 06268. The listed rate is $19.62 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in using office equipment and computer applications.
Empathy and understanding toward the needs of residents and their families.

Nice To Haves

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
