About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips® salon team and help deliver a welcoming, comfortable salon experience. As a receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers and a key support for stylists and salon management throughout the day. If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and working as part of a team in an energetic, supportive salon environment, this could be a great fit. This role is also a training opportunity for cosmetology or barbering students nearing graduation and preparing for a career behind the chair. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, answering phones, providing great customer service, and maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation. Trainees will also build skills to transition into a stylist role after graduation.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in cosmetology or barbering school and nearing graduation
• A friendly, professional approach to customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
• Reliability and a positive attitude
• Comfort using basic technology and learning new systems
• A team-first mindset and willingness to support salon operations
• Customer service skills are most important

Nice To Haves

• No cosmetology or barber license is required for the receptionist position.
• Current cosmetology and barber students are encouraged to apply.
