About The Position

The Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for visitors, employees, candidates, customers, and external partners, ensuring a professional and welcoming front office experience. This role manages daily reception operations, visitor access, company voicemail systems, and administrative support activities while partnering closely with the General & Administrative (G&A) team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative support role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a corporate, technology, or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with visitor management systems and office security procedures.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, interviews, and office events.
  • Experience using Slack or similar collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain front desk coverage during business hours.
  • Ensure the reception and lobby areas remain clean, organized, and professional.
  • Welcome visitors and provide a positive guest experience.
  • Manage visitor check-in procedures and notify hosts of arrivals.
  • Issue and track temporary security badges and access cards.
  • Monitor company voicemail systems and route messages appropriately.
  • Respond to general inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate departments.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail, package deliveries, and courier services.
  • Schedule conference rooms, meetings and support meeting arrangements.
  • Assist with company communications and administrative processes.
  • Provide backup support for front office operations as needed.
  • Maintain office supply inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Support special projects and other administrative initiatives.
  • Deliver professional and responsive service to employees, visitors, and external partners.
  • Build effective working relationships across the organization.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, email, and Slack.
