About The Position
Brookstone Animal Hospital in Acworth, GA, is seeking a Receptionist to be the Director of First Impressions. This role is crucial in managing the multi-line phone system, greeting clients with a positive attitude, and ensuring every interaction reflects the hospital's commitment to compassionate care. The receptionist will also ensure seamless care coordination by maintaining accurate medical records, managing appointment schedules, and handling financial transactions. Additionally, the role involves advocating for pet health by educating clients on preventative care and hospital services, and embodying compassion and empathy by being a calming presence for clients and treating each pet as their own.
Requirements
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
- Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
- A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
