About The Position

Transitions Healthcare North Huntingdon is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Part-Time Evening Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring the front desk operates efficiently during evening hours. Requirements

• Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, customer service, or front desk experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience operating a multi-line telephone system is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, visitors, families, vendors, and staff with professionalism and a friendly, welcoming attitude.
• Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system with excellent phone etiquette.
• Manage visitor sign-in procedures and maintain facility security protocols.
• Provide information and assistance to visitors while responding to general inquiries.
• Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and messages as appropriate.
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including filing, copying, and data entry.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Communicate effectively with department leaders and nursing staff to assist with daily operations.
• Complete additional administrative tasks as assigned.
