The Receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, greeting and checking in all patients for office appointments, including paperwork for patients to fill out, checking out patients after being evaluated, collects co-payments/co-insurances, deductibles, and outstanding balances, balances over the counter payments, scanning insurance cards, entering all demographic information into the electronic health record, calling patients daily for appointment confirmation, printing charge ticket with last office note for upcoming appointments, scanning for staff as needed, and working closely with physicians and staff.
