About The Position

Greets visitors, answers phones, and directs callers to appropriate parties in a friendly demeanor. Provides clerical support to programs and other departments. Routes new and existing clients to appropriate personnel. Tracks and maintains multiple administrative logs. Manages interdepartmental communication. Tracks and receives packages. Manages parking reservations. Creates a weekly site calendar. Assists with psychiatric calls and appointments. Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1 year of Receptionist/Administrative experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Maintains patient privacy, including protecting the confidentiality, safeguarding the integrity and availability, and limiting the use and disclosure of patient Protected Health Information (PHI) to authorized individuals and entities.
  • Participates in, conducts, and sustains performance quality improvement activities according to designated role and responsibilities.
  • Sensitivity to service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
  • Free from alcohol and drug abuse.
  • Understands CII’s basic philosophy and participates fully in carrying out its mission.
  • Basic knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and E-mail.
  • Basic knowledge of Internet software.
