LOCATION: Dublin, Georgia The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia is seeking a qualified individual to serve as our next Receptionist for our Burke County Outpatient Clinic! The selected candidate will be a professional individual who has strong communication skills and provides exceptional customer service. This is a very busy environment and requires superior organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Valid Georgia Driver’s License
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Office Products
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines accordingly

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate follow-up appointments with the MD/NP and ensure ordered labs, psychological evaluations, and referrals are scheduled.
  • Document follow-up efforts as nonbillable.
  • Serve as Treatment Engagement Specialist by orienting individuals to services, completing consents, scheduling initial appointments, and completing/billing GIRPP notes
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and route calls appropriately.
  • Monitor authorizations and treatment plan expiration dates and ensure updates are completed before MD/NP appointments.
  • Assist with scanning and other duties as needed.
  • Provide backup for therapist scheduling and Treatment Engagement staff.
  • Maintain the CSU discharge follow-up scheduling spreadsheet and update PMR forms when individuals attend appointments.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with individuals and coworkers.
  • Accept responsibility, follow supervisor direction, and respond appropriately to feedback
  • All other duties as assigned
