About The Position

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for employees, guests, and vendors while providing essential administrative and office support functions. This role helps create a welcoming and professional workplace environment by managing front desk operations, coordinating visitor services, supporting office logistics, and assisting with day-to-day facility needs. The position plays an important role in maintaining efficient workplace operations and delivering a positive experience for employees and visitors alike.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, office administration, or related environments
  • Experience supporting front desk or reception operations in a professional setting
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work full-time onsite and maintain a flexible schedule when needed for event support

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or completion of college coursework
  • 3+ years of administrative, workplace, or facilities support experience
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced office environment
  • Background in hospitality, commercial real estate, or corporate office settings
  • Familiarity with visitor management, badging, or workplace service coordination
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities effectively

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist employees, guests, visitors, and vendors while providing exceptional customer service and workplace support
  • Manage front desk operations including answering incoming calls, handling visitor requests, maintaining phone lists, and supporting administrative tasks
  • Coordinate package deliveries, mail services, and serve as a point of contact for vendors and contractors
  • Maintain the appearance and organization of lobby and common areas while reporting maintenance or facility issues as needed
  • Support office operations including conference room coordination, badging assistance, visitor scheduling, and site leadership calendar support
  • Assist with office and building maintenance scheduling and help resolve issues related to workplace services
  • Communicate effectively with employees, visitors, and leadership while responding to requests with professionalism and minimal supervision
