About The Position

The receptionist serves visitors by greeting, answering questions, and directing them to the appropriate departments. They will handle incoming phone calls and emails. The receptionist encompasses exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, students, and families. Coram Deo Academy hires individuals that profess the historic Christian faith. The Nicene Creed describes the minimum understanding of and subscription to Christian belief required of employees of the Academy. Every employee must also profess to be a Christian believer and subscribe to this statement. As evidence of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in their lives, Coram Deo Academy expects all employees to be actively involved in a local church where their faith in practice is consistent with the Academy’s mission and statement of faith.

Requirements

Basic computer, phone skills, and filing.
Broad base of general clerical & office management skills, strong communication and people skills.
Able to multi-task and able to work within a distracting environment maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
Flexible personality
Good basic administrative & organizational skills.
Basic computer skills needed (Word, Outlook, etc.)
General office duties that include phone, scanner, and computer
Demonstrate patience and humility in stressful situations
Exhibit good listening skills
Written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Outlook, Excel, Word, InDesign, Canva, Photoshop, and other graphic design programs.
First-hand knowledge of Christian, classical, and collaborative educational model preferred
Demonstrate an understanding of child development with a focus on the age being taught
