About The Position

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact and the face of the company, delivering a professional and welcoming experience to clients, guests, and board members. This role combines traditional front desk responsibilities with customer service and administrative support assistance within a Revenue Cycle Management environment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience, preferably in healthcare or billing
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact and face of the company, creating a professional, welcoming, and organized environment for clients, guests, and board members.
  • Ensure seamless communication by managing incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
  • Facilitate a smooth visitor experience by coordinating access, meetings, and front office operations.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by assisting patients with billing-related inquiries via phone and email, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and adherence to confidentiality and compliance standards.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and internal teams by identifying needs, resolving routine concerns, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate departments.
  • Support revenue cycle efficiency by researching and resolving denied claims related to demographic discrepancies, ensuring accurate and complete information for claim processing.
  • Maintain data integrity by verifying and updating patient demographic information, contributing to reduced errors and improved reimbursement outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with billing and revenue cycle teams to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and support overall operational effectiveness.
  • Provide proactive administrative support to senior leadership, including coordinating schedules, preparing documents, and executing special projects that support strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to organizational success by supporting internal operations, improving processes where applicable, and assisting teams in meeting business objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
