About The Position

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the company and is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional experience for employees, candidates, clients, vendors, and other visitors. This role manages the front desk, incoming calls, deliveries, and visitor access. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, service-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or administrative training preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, office coordinator, customer service, or similar role preferred.
  • Professional and polished communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on assignments.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong sense of urgency, dependability, and willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as a member of a team.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for a corporate office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact by answering and directing incoming calls on a multi-line phone system in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor the front entrance and elevators, ensuring appropriate access and maintaining a welcoming and secure environment.
  • Greet, welcome, and assist employees, candidates, visitors, vendors, and other guests upon arrival.
  • Receive, organize, and log incoming packages, mail, and deliveries; promptly notify recipients via email.
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Monitor and maintain office and departmental supplies, ensuring adequate inventory and coordinating replenishment as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling employee, candidate, and company information.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees, leadership, candidates, vendors, and visitors.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
