About The Position
Kansas City Canine Orthopedics is seeking a receptionist to support its specialized veterinary orthopedic and sports medicine hospital in Shawnee, Kansas. The receptionist is a first point of contact for clients and helps create a positive, compassionate experience while supporting efficient hospital operations and pet wellness. The role involves managing a multi-line phone system, greeting clients, maintaining medical records, scheduling appointments, and handling financial transactions. The receptionist also supports client education and hospital services, and provides empathetic, respectful assistance to clients and their pets. The position is full-time and on-site. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
Requirements

- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
