About The Position

This is a Full Time Receptionist position, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4 pm. The receptionist will provide support to the Administrative Team and the Community as a whole by being the liaison between visitors and personnel. Will work with scheduling residents appointments as necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in the use of personal computer
• One (2) year experience in an office setting and or switchboard
• Professional phone etiquette and attire needed
• Some knowledge in medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
• Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
• Maintains security and telecommunications system.
• Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.
• Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
• Operates telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation.
• Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Works closely with the Administrative team and handles additional duties when assigned and as needed.
• Handles scheduling transportation for residents coordinating with social services on transportation for residents to medical appointments.
• Be sufficient in setting up transportation with the facility van as well as outside contracted agencies.
