About The Position
Saint Francis Hospital is looking for a Receptionist to join our Medical Clinic. The Medical Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and care to all patients and clients. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer abilities.
- Excellent written, oral communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple phone lines simultaneously.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
- 1 years' experience in healthcare preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greets patients, verifies registration information, confirms insurance information, and scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Answers multi-line phone and triages calls
- Scheduling appointments and procedures for exams and procedures
- Performs clerical and secretarial tasks to support the department
- Assists Medical Assistant and works with other staff members to ensure the efficient and effective operation of clinic.
