About The Position

The Receptionist/Facilities Support position will act as the first point of contact for all guests visiting the NYC office. They will be responsible for helping to maintain cleanliness and organization of office spaces and kitchen areas throughout the day, as well as receiving and distributing lunches, coordinate mail/packages and ensuring all office areas and kitchens are stocked with necessary supplies. This role will collaborate with vendors, building management and the Facilities Manager to ensure building access and communications are properly delegated. The Receptionist/Facilities Support position will also assist the Facilities Manager or other Management staff with various administrative projects from time to time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality or a customer-facing role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to adapt to change
  • Polished interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication (Verbal and written) skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally greet and welcome all employees and office visitors
  • Prepare the office each morning to ensure a seamless start to the day
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization across multiple kitchen areas throughout the floor
  • Restock and replenish kitchen inventory including coffee machines, beverage fridges, and food offerings
  • Receive and distribute packages
