About The Position

Treasure Hills Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Receptionist/Driver to join their team. This role involves providing administrative support and transportation services to residents. Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely
  • Ability to assist disabled and/or elderly residents
  • Knowledge of HIPPA guidelines
  • Ability to perform administrative duties including typing and filing
  • Tact and understanding in interactions with facility personnel, residents, family members, and outside community contacts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting
  • Experience with administrative tasks such as posting accounts

Responsibilities

  • Professionally answer all incoming calls to the facility.
  • Greet and assist all guests of the facility.
  • Give directions/information to visitors, guests, residents, sales representatives, etc.
  • Issue and collect identification badges as representatives sign in/out.
  • Assist with administrative duties as directed (Includes typing, filing, posting accounts, etc.).
  • Secures passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
  • Assists disabled and/or elderly residents in and out of vehicle and in and out of buildings and doctor’s offices when appropriate.
  • Assists all departments in the delivery and pick-up of other related work items, i.e., x-rays, pharmaceuticals, medical records, mail drop off, etc., while adhering to HIPPA guidelines.
  • Cleans and services vehicle.
  • Reports all vehicle repairs, and/or any unsafe or hazardous situations immediately to supervisor.
  • Remains flexible and available for special occasions and special schedules.
  • Uses tact and understanding with facility personnel, residents, family members, and outside community contacts.
