About The Position

The Administrative Support I position will help manage the reception area, provide excellent customer service, and perform various administrative tasks in the Rogers Group, Inc. Huntsville HR office. Candidates must be motivated, safety conscious individuals with good multi-tasking skills to help manage a variety of administrative related tasks. Must be able to perform duties in accordance with established procedures, requiring judgement in the selection and interpretation of data. Must be able to maintain confidentiality with employee information. Must be willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime while maintaining excellent attendance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Commitment to attending work each day
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external parties
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
  • Possess Critical thinking skills and good judgement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

  • 1 Year plus Office Administration Experience preferred
  • Experience In Microsoft Excel a plus
  • Experience in Oracle applications a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage the reception area
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Perform various administrative tasks
  • Greet visitors, customers, employees, and potential new hires
  • Answer and distribute office phone calls
  • Assist in performing various data entry & some HR/Payroll Functions while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
  • Manage office supply orders, intercompany mail, and FedEx
  • Assist & trouble-shoot computer issues with applicants and employees utilizing computers to complete online tasks
  • Filing
  • General office administrative duties
  • May be called upon at the discretion of Managers to perform other duties
