About The Position

A receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors and clients, responsible for greeting guests, managing communications, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic computer proficiency, including office software and scheduling tools
  • Problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness to address visitor or client inquiries
  • Friendly, out-going personality

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and welcoming visitors, clients, or patients and directing them to the appropriate person or department
  • Answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls, as well as managing emails and correspondence
  • Maintaining a tidy and presentable reception area, including organizing waiting areas and supplies
  • Performing clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, copying, and handling mail
  • Monitoring visitor access and performing basic security functions when required
  • Cross-training to help cover other mailroom duties
