About The Position

The Reception Team Lead will monitor the quantity and quality of work performed by the reception team, conduct interviews, train, supervise, and evaluate employees. This role is also responsible for maintaining departmental equipment and supplies, revising, developing, and implementing policies, procedures, and performance standards, and managing departmental expenses related to staff and materials. The Reception Team Lead is expected to learn and perform receptionist duties as needed and participate in management call schedules. This position directly supervises 25 to 30 employees in the Reception Department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving complaints and problems.

Requirements

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Knowledge of internet software, payroll systems, spreadsheet software, billing and patient appointment software and word processing software to include Word, Excel and Power Point.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Three to five years of Supervisory experience preferred.
