About The Position

This full-time position requires travel between all TSAOG locations. The Reception Specialist Float is responsible for greeting customers, managing patient information, handling payments, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least one-year work experience in a clinical setting, or equivalent experience in a customer service role.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Computer literacy, with basic knowledge of MS office products, and general office machines such as fax, copier, etc.
Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced work environment, and demonstrate team cooperation.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with insurance benefits is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greets customers in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner, providing necessary instruction/directions and informing appropriate department/person of customer’s arrival.
Updates patient information, including insurance cards, driver’s license, authorizations, and referrals.
Administers tablets for completion of personal health information, privacy policies, and financial policies.
Collects co-payments, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
Provides detailed explanations of benefits and financial agreements.
Answers phones in a pleasant manner and addresses customer needs expeditiously.
Schedules follow-up appointments as required by physician teams.
Enters charges into the computer system.
Prints charge tickets and necessary paperwork for the next day clinic.
Balances daily collections with time of service payment and summary report, and prepares deposit slips.
Carries out appropriate actions related to hold and practice buckets.
Accepts deliveries, logs them, and distributes them to appropriate parties.
Maintains regular and consistent attendance.
