About The Position

Ventrac, a division of The Toro Company located in Orrville, Ohio, is a premier innovator of equipment for turf and landscape grounds management, sidewalk snow removal, and specialty grounds care maintenance. Built for performance with quality to last, Ventrac equipment is ideal for golf course turf management, sports fields, collegiate campuses, residential and commercial property maintenance, and public green spaces. The Receiving position is responsible for replenishing component stock for continuous flow assembly lines, maintaining the receiving/production supply area in an organized and clean condition, and setting up assembly lines for the assembly department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Detailed and organized while managing multiple priorities
• Must work well in a teamwork environment
• Proficient working in email and basic computer systems
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and stretch overhead, stand, twist, bend for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

• 1 year + experience in receiving or shipping
• CDL License is a plus

Responsibilities

• Use forklift or Cushman cart (tugger)
• Unload, inspect and verify packages according to order/invoice
• Update inventory with received items: organize and store in appropriate areas
• Stage materials to the production lines according to the pick lists
• Restock KANBAN items as requested
