About The Position

This role is responsible for accurately receiving shipments, inspecting materials, performing necessary system transactions, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to the appropriate departments. The position also involves safely operating equipment, maintaining a clean work environment, and identifying opportunities for process improvement within the shipping/receiving department.

• Ability to lift 40lbs, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull pallet jacks throughout the shift
• Able to pass an in-house forklift certification and training requirements as directed by MIOSHA guidelines

Responsibilities

• Compare packing slips, product, and purchase orders to verify accuracy of the shipment’s contents and quantities.
• Inspect incoming materials for defects or transit damage and report discrepancies.
• Perform receiving transactions in Enwork’s ERP system.
• Route and deliver materials directly to the manufacturing floor or place them in designated warehouse location.
• Safely load/unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following and supporting all safety and housekeeping policies.
• Look for continuous improvements within the shipping/receiving department.
