Receiving Team Lead
About The Position
This position leads the receiving area to achieve production goals, prepares daily assignments, and is responsible for the security of the area and maintaining inventory accuracy. The role involves working overtime and weekends, training new associates, and effectively leading employees to ensure HPU goals are met. The Team Lead will motivate employees to perform their best and plan to prevent part shortages. All applicants must follow job posting instructions as stated in the job bidding policy and submit applications to Human Resources by the deadline. The successful applicant will be notified by their supervisor of the start date for the new assignment and will be evaluated during their first 5 days in the new position. If not capable of performing the new duties, they will be returned to their previous job or any open position for which they qualify.
Requirements
- Ability to read & understand instructions and schedules.
- Ability to lift to 50lbs. at a time.
- Communication skills necessary to accurately issue materials to recipient.
- Math skills to calculate inventory and product counts required.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Must be a team player.
- Knowledge of cabinet parts & quality standards.
- Knowledge of computers.
- Must be able to pass the assessment test which will be conducted as part of the interview process.
