About The Position

This position is accountable for managing inbound and outbound deliveries, and coordinating all activities related to the receiving dock. This includes the operation and maintenance of the Crane, managing supplier returns, and ensuring efficient intercompany transfers between various locations. The role ensures the safe and secure operation of all activities, equipment, employees, and inventory while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility and supervising the receiving team to meet productivity standards.

Requirements

  • Must be knowledgeable and comply with all company and TABC policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to operate warehouse vehicles and equipment (pallet jacks, walkie-riders, forklifts) safely and in accordance with company standards.
  • Must comply with all OSHA rules, regulations and company policies, including TABC guidelines.
  • Must be able to learn all products / code dates.
  • Must be able to coordinate upcoming dock times with Warehouse Manager to ensure proper scheduling of forklift/transfer manpower.
  • Must be able to coordinate the receiving and handling of inbound deliveries, ensuring accuracy in Encompass for product quantities, code dates, and dunnage quantities match delivery BOL.
  • Must be able to manage supplier returns and ensure accurate inventory rotation – FIFO / First-In, First-Out.
  • Must be able to reconcile and prepare loads thru Kegspediter ® and other dunnage suppliers.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and clear “Faults” on the Crane and ensure its smooth operation.
  • Must be able to supervise the pulling and staging of transfer orders and outbound deliveries.
  • Must be able to assist with stocking the layer picker and reconciling inventory variances with the Inventory Control Specialist.
  • Must be able to assist the Inventory Control Specialist in reconciling inventory variances.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Coordinate all activities related to the receiving dock.

  • Ensure efficient intercompany transfers between various locations.
  • Ensure the safe and secure operation of all activities, equipment, employees, and inventory.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
  • Supervise the receiving team to meet productivity standards.
  • Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment (pallet jacks, walkie-riders, forklifts) safely and in accordance with company standards.
  • Comply with all OSHA rules, regulations and company policies, including TABC guidelines.
  • Learn all products / code dates.
  • Communicate and schedule dock times with incoming trucking companies for delivery.
  • Coordinate upcoming dock times with Warehouse Manager to ensure proper scheduling of forklift/transfer manpower.
  • Coordinate the receiving and handling of inbound deliveries, ensuring accuracy in Encompass for product quantities, code dates, and dunnage quantities match delivery BOL.
  • Assist in unloading inbound deliveries and assist in putting these deliveries away.
  • Manage supplier returns and ensure accurate inventory rotation – FIFO / First-In, First-Out.
  • Reconcile and prepare loads thru Kegspediter ® and other dunnage suppliers.
  • Oversee supplier returns (i.e., Molsen Coors , Boston, Shiner Dunnage returns, etc.).
  • Oversee and maintain cleanliness and organization of Crane area, Receiving docks, Craft cooler and Keg vault. (Using floor scrubber as needed).
  • Oversee the operations of the repack room and facility areas.
  • Police warehouse for trash and breakers.
  • Keep warehouse neat and orderly.
  • Ensure the receiving team is productive and meets management-set standards.
  • Report any inefficiencies or challenges affecting warehouse operations to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Oversee daily crane operations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Crane area, receiving docks, craft cooler, and keg vault, utilizing floor scrubbers as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and clear “Faults” on the Crane and ensure its smooth operation.
  • Oversee the pulling and staging of transfer orders to be loaded (i.e., transfers to other Fisher59 locations ).
  • Supervise the pulling and staging of transfer orders and outbound deliveries.
  • Assist with stocking the layer picker and reconciling inventory variances with the Inventory Control Specialist.
  • Assist the Inventory Control Specialist in reconciling inventory variances.
