The Receiving Stall Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the cleaning and organization of the Receiving Barn along with light maintenance [making minor repairs]; ensuring the horses are put away as per the approved paperwork each day of training and/or racing. This role involves keeping the Receiving Barn Laborers aware of any changes in scheduling or procedures, managing daily stall cleaning needs, and organizing labor schedules to ensure all work is completed for the next day of racing and/or morning training. The supervisor must maintain a clean and safe environment in the Receiving Barn, manage equipment care, and assist with placing ship-in horses. Recordkeeping of daily stall details and reporting issues are also key responsibilities. The position requires maintaining a professional work environment, promoting positive customer service, and adhering to company standards.
