About The Position

The Receiving Outfitter performs work in the store’s Receiving area, including merchandise stocking, inventory control, pricing, and merchandise returns. The role supports a world-class customer service commitment and helps ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience. Work is performed under general supervision using established procedures and innovation, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to constantly move, lift, and carry objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally move objects up to 100 pounds or more.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods and repeat motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Ability to frequently ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, and similar structures.
• Ability to work occasionally in tight or enclosed spaces, varied temperatures, outdoor elements, noisy environments, and hazardous conditions.
• Occasional operation of machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, or heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, ticket merchandise, and process returns.
• Maintain the Receiving area layout as set by the Corporate Office.
• Interact with associates in a friendly, positive, and professional manner.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and safe.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Remain knowledgeable about advertised sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
