About The Position
This role involves the supervision of lift truck operators, problem-solving for incorrect orders, and learning the duties of a Receiving Clerk. The individual will be responsible for ensuring all assigned orders and yarn received for the shift are completed correctly and for maintaining shift safety. This position requires the ability to perform general lift truck maintenance, such as battery changes.
Requirements
- Must be able to read and write.
- Must be able to do basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
- Computer knowledge or data entry skills are necessary.
- Must be able to operate a lift truck and complete necessary lift truck training.
- Safety equipment must be worn as required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of other lift truck operators.
- Identify and solve problems when orders are incorrect.
- Learn duties of Receiving Clerk.
- Perform general lift truck maintenance (battery changes, etc.).
- Ensure all assigned orders and yarn received for the shift are completed correctly.
- Responsible for shift safety.
- Report all accidents immediately.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Report to management any quality, safety, or potential problems encountered while performing the job.
- Responsible for quality and safety of his/her own output.
