About The Position

This position oversees the order filling process of raw and packaging materials from the warehouse to the processing and packaging departments, ensuring the proper movement of product. The Receiving Lead is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate receipt of materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, labor efficiency, customer service, and housekeeping. This role also involves directing product flow and daily activities according to the receiving plan, providing excellent customer service, and completing daily labor activity logs and warehouse TQM checklists. The Lead will oversee order picking, returns, receiving, and stocking processes on shift, conduct receiving audits, and submit PIP requests to maintenance. Additionally, the position requires performing disciplinary counseling, enforcing safety rules, and providing training to team members. Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality are essential. The role also requires adherence to safety policies, USDA, QA, HACCP, AIB, sanitation rules and regulations, and company policies. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Experience as a Lead or Supervisor required.
Minimum of 2 years of forklift and warehouse experience required.
Ability to motivate and lead others.
Effective communication skills, both in speaking and writing.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required.
Organized, professional and capable of multitasking.
Capable of working independently and with little direction.
Know how to drive yard truck.
Able to work overtime when needed.

Nice To Haves

M3/WMS software experience a plus.
Bi-lingual, English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities
